Description
English: Pacific Ocean (Jan. 18, 2005) - A C-2A Greyhound assigned to the “Providers” of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Three Zero (VRC-30), prepares to land on the flight deck aboard USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) as the guided missile destroyer USS Paul Hamilton (DDG 60) maintains plane guard station. The primary mission of the Plane Guard ship is to aid and rescue aircrew if they have to eject from their aircraft upon landing on the aircraft carrier.
