English: Arabian Gulf (Nov. 20, 2004) - A Sailor aboard USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67) looks on as USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) relieves Kennedy in the Arabian Gulf. Kennedy and her crew have just completed missions in the Arabian Gulf over the past four months in support of the Global War on Terrorism. Kennedy and Carrier Air Wing Seventeen (CVW-17) are deployed to the 5th Fleet area of responsibility in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). Units in the strike group are working closely with Multi-National Corps-Iraq and Iraqi forces to bring stability to the sovereign government of Iraq.
