English: Atlantic Ocean (Nov. 18, 2004) - Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Melody Austin from Ponchatoula, La., second from left, explains to stretcher bearers how to control excess bleeding from an abdominal wound, during a mass causality exercise aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3). The Kearsarge Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) and the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) are conducting initial integrated training in preparation for an upcoming scheduled deployment.
