English: Mayport, Fla. (Sept. 29, 2004) – Sailors aboard the guided missile Frigate USS John L. Hall (FFG 32) together with Coast Guardsmen from its embarked Law Enforcement detachment (LEDET) off load more than 3,000 pounds of cocaine to waiting U.S. authorities. The cocaine was seized during a drug interdiction conducted by the ship in early September while operating in the Pacific. During this operation USS John Hall chased a high-speed boat and the embarked LEDET seized their contraband and detained four suspects. More than 70,000 pounds of narcotics have been seized in combined Coast Guard and Navy operations during the month of September 2004.
