English: Boston, Mass. (June 25, 2004) - USS Constitution, Executive Officer, Lt. William Marks describes the sleeping conditions and every-day life aboard the ship during the early 1800’s to Secretary of the Navy Gordon R. England and British Ambassador Sir David Manning. The Secretary, along with British Ambassador, Sir David Manning, toured Constitution, the award-winning Constitution Museum, Bunker Hill, and were honored guests aboard the British frigate HMS Cornwall (F 99). The Boston visit focused on the close tie between the U.S. and Royal Navies, which is a partnership that is a key element in the global war on terrorism. U.S. Navy photo by Chief Journalist Craig P.
