English: Aboard USS Vincennes (CG 49) Feb 2, 2004 – Fire Controlman 1st Class Ritchie Andrews, of Laurelton, N.Y., has a fit test performed on his MCU-2/P gas mask while Damage Controlman 3rd Class Travis Ross, from Delavan, Wis., monitors the readings on the TDA-99M respirator tester aboard the guided missile cruiser USS Vincennes (CG 49). The tester emits a mineral oil vapor thru the drinking tube on the gas mask, and detects if any vapor is present in the plastic containment, indicating an improper seal from the gas mask.
