Description
English: U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command Area of Operations (Dec. 12, 2003) -- Sailors aboard a Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB) assigned to guided missile frigate USS McClusky (FFG 41) approach the distressed vessel San Luis to deliver water and lend assistance to migrants passengers. In total McClusky answered distress calls from two other vessels rescuing 169 Ecuadorians nationals in peril on the high seas, while the San Diego based guided missile frigate McClusky was conducting counter drug operations during a regularly scheduled deployment.
