Description
English: Pacific Ocean (Oct. 3, 2003) -- An F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the “Warhawks” of Strike Fighter Squadron Ninety Seven (VFA-97), patrols the skies during flight operations on USS Nimitz (CVN 68) in the Pacific Ocean. The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVW-11) are deployed to the western Pacific. U.S. Navy photo by Photographer’s Mate 3rd Class Elizabeth Thompson. (RELEASED)
