English: Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (May 22, 2003) -- A survey team member attached to 93rd Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Team (WMD-CST) is washed down in a decontamination line during a weapons of mass destruction exercise held on Ford Island. The scenario is an aerial chemical attack by terrorists against ships moored in Pearl Harbor. The WMD-CST is an active duty Hawaii Army and Air National Guard unit composed of command and control, operations, communications, administration, medical and survey teams. Within four hours of notification, a WMD-CST can deploy to a suspected incident in support of a local Incident Commander to assess the situation, advise civilian authorities on appropriate action, and facilitate requests for assistance to expedite the arrival of any additional state and federal assets needed during the crisis.
