English: Arabian Gulf (Jun. 29, 2002) -- Aviation Boatswain’s Mate 1st Class Joey Whitmoyer, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Six (EODMU-6) Detachment 12, descends ninety feet below the surface of the Arabian Gulf using a MK-16 rebreather diving system. EODMU-6 Det. 12 and the mine countermeasures ship USS Dextrous (MCM 13) are conducting exercises in the North Arabian Gulf in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Southern Watch.
