English: Off the coast of Cape Hatteras, NC (Jun. 29, 2002) -- Interior Communications Electrician 3rd Class Michael Pazman gives an “OK” signal to the diving Supervisor after surfacing from a 230-foot dive on the civil war-era wreck of the ironclad USS Monitor. Petter Officer Pazman is a deep sea diver assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit Two (MDSU-2) in Norfolk, VA. MDSU-2 divers are taking part in the efforts to recover the gun turret of the historical submerged warship which houses two eleven-inch “Dahlgren” guns.
