Description
English: An S-3B “Viking” assigned to the "Topcats" of Sea Control Squadron 31 (VS-31) flies off the wing of a E-2C “Hawkeye” assigned to the "Bluetails" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 121 (VAW-121), engine visible at right, as they make final preparations to land back aboard the carrier. USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67) and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW-7) were conducting combat missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
