Keating visited the aircraft carrier to thank the ship's crew for their contributions to the war on terrorism. John C. Stennis and its embarked Carrier Air Wing Nine (CVW-9) have been on station since mid-December conducting combat operations in supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
