At sea aboard USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67) Mar. 6, 2002 -- Weapons Department Personnel attach a load of "Pogo Sticks" to a CH-46 “Sea Knight” to take over to USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Pogo sticks are used to transport cargo from ship to ship by helicopters. The two ships are conducting weapons transfer operations while turning over deployment responsibilities.
