Description
English: 020304-N-7314K-001 Fort Lauderdale, FL. (Feb. 4, 2002) -- The guided missile destroyer USS Mitscher (DDG 57) arrives at the entrance to the channel to Port Everglades, Fla., for a short port visit. The visit will permit the crew a little rest and relaxation ashore. The ship is not expected to be open for general visiting. Mitscher is homeported in Norfolk, VA.
