Description
English: 020225-N-6027E-004 Aboard USS Oscar Austin (DDG 79) Brest, France, (Feb. 25, 2002) -- Gas Turbine Systems Technician 2nd Class Tamera Kimbrough from Bald Head Island, NC, mans the Electric Plant Control Console in the Central Control Station. Oscar Austin is awaiting the start of Operation Strong Resolve. Strong Resolve is a NATO training exercise, held every four years, designed to manage two simultaneous crises in separate geographical regions that will test two types of NATO missions, an Article Five collective defense operation and a Crisis Response Operation (CRO).
