Description
English: 020125-N-8505J-006 At sea aboard USS John C Stennis (CVN 74) Jan. 25, 2002 -- The only body part showing on Aviation Electrician's Mate 3rd Class Pone Khamlatthanom from Minneapolis, MN, is his standard issue utility boots, seen protruding from a maintenance panel on an F-14A "Tomcat" in the ship's hangar bay. Khamlatthanom is completing a routine inspection and preventative maintenance checks on the aircraft with the help of Aviation Electrician's Mate 3rd Class David Burros form Virginia Beach, VA. The two Navy petty officers are assigned to the "Checkmates" of Fighter Squadron Two One One (VF-211). John C. Stennis and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Nine (CVW-9) are conducting missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. U.S. Navy Photo by Photographer's Mate 3rd Class Quinton Jackson. (RELEASED)
