English: 070522-N-1134L-004 ANNAPOLIS, Md. (May 22, 2007) - U.S. Naval Academy Pipes and Drums Commander Midshipman 1st Class Jeremy Severson conducts his final performance before graduation as a member of the Class of 2007. Officially recognized as a Brigade Support Activity in 1999, the Naval Academy Pipes and Drums is the Department of the Navy’s only active pipe band. The 42-person group provides highland musical support to the Brigade of Midshipmen and the larger Naval Academy community, both on and off the Yard. Their performance was one of a series of events celebrating the graduation and commissioning of the Naval Academy Class of 2007. U.S. Navy photo by |
