Description
English: U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Chase M. Graves, a grenadier with SPMAGTF Crisis Response – Africa, assembles a tear gas canister for a Cougar grenade launcher under supervision of Gendarmerie Major Andre Rakoto at the National Gendarmerie Training Center in St. Astier, France, Dec. 1, 2014. The Marines were conducting crowd and riot control training with the French Gendarmerie, allowing the Marines to gain greater knowledge of non-lethal tactics, techniques and procedures while enhancing interoperability with the French Gendarmerie and strengthening the U.S. partnership with France.
