English: The Volunteers, of The United States Army Field Band, braved 38 degree-temperatures at the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, N.M., Oct. 9 and Oct. 10, to entertain an enthusiastic audience of nearly 230,000. With a mix of country, classic rock, R&B, funk and patriotic tunes, they wowed concert goers. Their performances were also aired on local television and radio so that an estimated 1.5 million people in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe areas could enjoy a concert like no other. |
