Description
English: Col. Walter Piatt, commander, 3rd "Bronco" Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, and Command Sgt. Maj. Anthony Morrero, command sergeant major, 3rd IBCT, 25th Inf. Div., prepare to case the brigade's colors during a Transfer of Partnership at Contingency Operating Base Speicher, near Tikrit, Iraq, Oct. 8. The "Bronco Brigade" worked diligently during during their twelve month deployment to establish a close partnership with the people of Salah Ad Din province, Iraq. Many local Iraqi leaders and guests visited the "Broncos" to say good-bye to the departing "Bronco" Soldiers and military personnel they have affectionately adopted as part of their extended family. The "Broncos" depart Iraq and will redeploy to their home at Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii, where the brigade colors will be uncased once again. The 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division will assume the partnership with the people of Salah Ad Din with the departure of the "Broncos." (U.S. Army photo by Pfc. Jesus J.
