Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Sgt. Maj. of the Army Kenneth O. Preston addressed junior enlisted Soldiers about the state of the Army during a seminar at the Association of the United States Army's annual meeting Oct. 6. Preston said his main concern for Soldiers was stress on the force. "Its not just stress on the operational part of the Army -- that part of the Army that's deployed" that's troubling, but also stress on "the institutional Army, that part of the Army that's responsible for manning, equipping, and training those units that deploy. Its also stressful on families and its also stressful on our institutions and garrisons," he said.
