English: The Combatives tournament was the final event at the 2009 Department of the Army Best Warrior Competition at Fort Lee, Va. In the end, Sgt. Jonathan Jordan, U.S. Army Medical Command Soldier of the Year (pictured right), defeated Staff Sgt. Lucas Miller, U.S. Army Special Operations Command to claim the Combatives title. The NCO and Soldier of the Year winners will be announced Oct. 5 at the Association of the U.S. Army annual meeting. |
