Description
English: Fort Leavenworth, Kan., Garrison Commander Col. Wayne Green and Fort Larned volunteer Janice Seymour unveil a memorial during the Fort Larned deceased Soldier memorial dedication ceremony Sept. 19, 2009, at the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery. The memorial lists the names of Soldiers who died at Fort Larned from 1859-1878 and whose remains may have been re-interred in "Unknown U.S. Soldier" graves at Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery in 1888.
