Description The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Yorktown (CVS-10) in a posed formation with her escorts while en route to the United States after her 1966 Western Pacific Cruise. The escorts on the carriers starboard side are the guided missile destroyer USS Goldsborough (DDG-20) and the destroyers USS Taylor (DD-468) and USS Jenkins (DD-447). On Yorktowns port side, the destroyer escort USS Bronstein (DE-1037) leads USS Hooper (DE-1026) and USS Bridget (DE-1024). Yorktown, with assigned Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 55 (CVSG-55), was deployed to the Western Pacific and Vietnam from 5 January to 27 July 1966.
