Description The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Yorktown (CV-5) tied up at Pier 7, Naval Operating Base Norfolk, Virginia (USA), on 30 September 1937, with commissioning ceremonies underway on her flight deck. The destroyer USS Jacob Jones (DD-130) is on the opposite side of the pier.
