Description
English: 181201-N-KM734-149 BOSTON (Dec. 1, 2018) Vice Chief of Naval Operations Adm. William Moran delivers remarks to ship’s sponsors, family members and crew during the USS Thomas Hudner (DDG 116) commissioning ceremony. DDG 116 is the 66th Arleigh Burke-class destroyer and the first warship named for Capt. Thomas J. Hudner, Jr., who earned the Medal of Honor for his actions while trying to save the life of his wingman, Ensign Jesse L. Brown, during the Battle of Chosin Reservoir in the Korean War.
