Description The U.S. Navy amphibious assault ship USS Tarawa (LHA-1) and the aircraft carriers USS Coral Sea (CV-43) and USS Constellation (CV-64) tied up along the quay wall at Naval Air Station North Island, California (USA), on 7 August 1976. Tarawa had been commissioned on 29 May 1976.
