English: 151120-N-UF697-740 EAST CHINA SEA (Nov. 20, 2015) Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Stethem (DDG 63) return to the ship in a ridged hull inflatable boat (RHIB) after retrieving a floating dummy during a Code for Unplanned Encounters at Sea (CUES) and a search-and-rescue (SAR) exercise with the People’s Liberation Army Navy Jiangkai II class guided-missile frigate Xuzhou (FFG 530). Stethem recently visited Shanghai to build relationships with the PLA Navy and demonstrate the U.S. Navy’s commitment to the Indo-Asia-Pacific.
