Description
English: The USS Slater (DE-766) is the last remaining Destroyer Escort from WW II. Built in 1943, it is now a floating museum on the Hudson River in Albany, New York and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has been fully restored, and is kept in top shape by a dedicated group of volunteers.
