Description The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Saratoga (CV-3) off the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Washington (USA), on 14 May 1942. Saratoga had been torpedoed 11 January 1942. While under repair at Puget Sound, she was equipped with two Mark 37 gun directors and four 127 mm/38 twin gun turrets. Torpedo bulges were also fitted.
