Description The U.S. Navy heavy cruiser USS St. Paul (CA-73) moored at Naval Station Yokosuka, Japan. On 21 April 1952, four months after this photograph was taken, one of the cruisers 8-inch gun turrets suffered a sudden powder fire, killing thirty sailors.
