Description
English: Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Adrian Aguilar directs a Kuwaiti Armed Forces AH-64D Apache helicopter as it departs the flight deck of amphibious dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47), during deck landing qualifications. Rushmore is participating in Exercise Eager Mace 13, a routine bilateral exercise cycle focused on increasing the tactical proficiency of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and Kuwait Armed Forces. Rushmore is a part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit and is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts In the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
