[edit]DescriptionUSS Ronald Reagan operations 160311-N-IN729-004.jpg |
English: 160311-N-IN729-004 YOKOSUKA, Japan (March 11, 2016) Senior Chief Aviation Ordnanceman Jordan Orr, from Everett, Was., the G-1 division leading chief petty officer, poses for a photograph aboard the U.S. Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). “Nancy represented the positive attributes that we look for in strong role model. Her influence on the United States while her husband was in office as well as afterwards was a positive one. I appreciate what she did in paving the way for the just say no campaign and the prevention of drugs, which is something I feel we do not talk about enough. It was also significant that she was able to take part in christening the ship. The fact that she was able to be here definitely makes “USS Ronald Reagan” more than just a name, it’s what makes this ship America’s Flagship.” (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Ryan McFarlane/Released)
