Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The U.S. Navy destroyer escort USS Richard W. Suesens (DE-342) at sea, circa in 1945.

Note: This seems to be a heavily retouched photo of a John C. Butler-class destroyer escort. The superstructure is still painted in Camouflage Measure 31 or 32, Design 22D. However, Richard W. Suesens was painted in 32/3D. The hull is painted in Measure 21, which Richard W. Suesens wore in 1945. Note that the hull number appears to be added later.

The original photo seems to be the censored Bureau of Ships photo 77543a of USS Oberrender (DE-344).
