English: The U.S. Navy ammunition ship USS Nitro (AE-23) underway, circa in late 1967. She received four Fast Automatic Shuttle Transfer (FAST) stations and a helicopter platform at the Maryland Shipbuilding and Drydock Company, Baltimore, Maryland (USA), between 18 May 1966 and 31 August 1967.
