Description The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Constellation (CV-64) and the guided missile cruiser USS Leahy (CG-16) being replenished by the combat stores ship USS Niagara Falls (AFS-3) in December 1978. Constellation, with assigned Carrier Air Wing 9 (CVW-9), was deployed to the Western Pacific and the Indian Ocean from 26 September 1978 to 17 May 1979.
