Description 091205-N-3090M-078 GROTON, Conn. The Virginia-class attack submarine Pre-Commissioing Unit (PCU) Missouri (SSN 780) is christened during a ceremony at General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, Conn. The 7,800-ton Missouri is the seventh submarine of the Virginia class and the fifth U.S. warship to be named after the Show-Me state.
