Description The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Ingersoll (DD-990) underway in the Pacific Ocean in 1990. Note that Ingersoll received two armoured box launchers for four RGM-109 Tomahawk cruise missiles (each) in front of the superstructure. The ASROC launcher located in between was later removed.
