English: The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Heermann (DD-532) with her crew at quarters and a sailor at the jackstaff preparing to hoist the Union Jack, 19 April 1952. On 15 April 1952, Heermann stood out of Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island (USA), as part of Task Element (TE) 47.8, bound for San Juan, Puerto Rico, arriving at her destination on 23 April 1952.
