One photograph shows the destroyer USS Harding (DD-91) positioned near the aircraft. NC-1 was commanded by LCdr. Patrick N.L. Bellinger and due to problems with navigation made a forced landing beween Trepassey, Newfoundland and the Azores Islands. |
