Description
English: U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (March 29, 2013) Amphibious assault vehicles approach the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) during an exercise with the amphibious dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47). Green Bay is part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group and, with embarked elements of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (15th MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
