English: USS General William Mitchell (AP-114) passes under the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco Bay, California, 26 September 1951. She was inbound from Korea with men of the First Marine Division on board. They were returning home under the Korean War rotation plan. Note welcoming fireboat at left.
