BARRIGADA, Guam (Feb. 4, 2015) – Military Sea Command Civilian Mariner Josela Pancho, right, and Interior Communications Electrician Ann Morris, assigned to the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), share a laugh while removing weeds and grass from a planter box during a community service event at Guma San Jose Homeless Shelter (GSJHS). GSJHS, Guam’s only homeless shelter, provides a variety of services for its clients, including assistance in seeking permanent housing, financial management and teaching gardening skills. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
