Description The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CV-6) at Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, California (USA), 24 June 1940, with 65 planes on deck, including: 16 Grumman F3F-3 fighters; 18 Curtiss SBC-3 Helldiver; 15 Northrop BT-1; and 16 Douglas TBD-1 Devastator. A BT-1 is also visible on the pier.
