Description The decommissioned U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea (CV-43), left, and the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD-1) tied up at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Virginia (USA), on 25 September 1990. The Coral Sea had been decommissioned on 26 April 1990, whereas Wasp had been commissioned on 29 July 1989.
