Description In the Gulf of Tonkin, the U.S. Navy destroyer USS Carpenter (DD-825) pulls alongside the fast combat support ship USS Camden (AOE-2) to take on supplies by highline and helicopter, 8 February 1969. At the same time, the aircraft carrier USS Hancock (CVA-19) takes on a load of fuel from Camden.
