Description

EAST CHINA SEA (March 15, 2014) Electrician's Mate 2nd Class Matthew Sampson, left, from Goose Creek, S.C., teaches Capt. Joey Tynch, commanding officer of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), how to parallel generators using the electrical plant control panel aboard the ship. Bonhomme Richard is the lead ship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is conducting joint force operations in the U.S. 7th area of responsibility.
