Description
English: The U.S. Navy destroyer tender USS Black Hawk (AD-9) with seven Clemson-class destroyers alongside (inboard to outboard):
  • USS Marcus (DD-321);
  • USS Mullany (DD-325);
  • USS Robert Smith (DD-324);
  • USS Chase (DD-323);
  • USS Selfridge (DD-320);
  • USS Mervine (DD-322);
  • USS Sumner (DD-333).
The photo was taken in the 1920s, as all destroyers visible were decommissioned after the London Naval Treaty of 1930.
