AEGEAN SEA (March 10, 2014) A CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 263 (Reinforced), 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (22nd MEU), lands aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5), returning U.S. Marines after completing a bilateral exercise in Greece with the Hellenic Army. The 22nd MEU is deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group as a sea-based, expeditionary crisis response force capable of conducting amphibious missions across the full range of military operations.
